Because of its protected location in the Minas Basin of the Bay of Fundy, the ocean here is calm and tranquil. The beach is gradual and the water shallow, ideal for small children to play. Swim in the brisk sea water and when you've had enough, grab an ice cream at the canteen.

The best thing about Nova Scotia is the peace. You can wander for hours on the bottom of the ocean floor. Let your family run free to find all kinds of treasures. Walk the beach to discover special rock formations and beautiful red cliffs. Follow the tide out to find sea creatures or wait for the tide to come in for the warmest swimming. You may even see a bald eagle fly by!
